An iPad app that delivers a series of short, simple, interactive lessons designed to help the child speak Tamil. The curriculum is based on proven pedagogic models that teach Tamil as a second language. Children who spend 20 to 30 minutes a day consistently over time and complete all the lessons can expect to achieve ACTFL proficiency in the High Novice to Low Intermediate range.

Illustrated storybooks in Tamil that engage and stimulate the child along with equivalent digital versions where the stories are read aloud by the app. Children who already speak or understand Tamil can enjoy these books and learn to read.

Once a sufficient number of children use our services, we will publish a children’s magazine in Tamil with stories, articles, and activities that reinforce the content learned through the lessons. We will also establish a platform for small online (supervised) gatherings where interested students can practice speaking Tamil to each other.
